Alexander Matics

Alexander Matics was my 4th Great Grandfather. He was born in 1775 in Virginia to Schofield and Susanna Matics. He is the oldest of 7 children. 

On 17 April 1804 in Botetourt Virginia he married Eleanor Rice. They lived in Greenbrier Virginia - West Virginia and had 8 children.

Alexander died 14 October 1840. 
In his will he leaves all the property in the house and kitchen to his wife. He gives to his only daughter, Elizabeth a 3 year old black mare and 2 cows. He leaves all his land to his son Matthew along with all his perishable property. (Perishable property, is that which, from its nature, decays in a short space of time, without reference to the care it receives. Tobacco, horses, corn etc... ) He also asks Matthew to pay his brothers $50.00 each.
